Goodwill gesture by Puri RPF
Desk : Today, Puri RPF shown a goodwill gesture by Handing over of recovered mobile Phone & Cash Rs-2500/- to its bonafide owner. Talking with us Anil Kumar Singh, IIC, RPF, Puri said that on 05.04.2021 at about-12.30 hrs, while on duty RPF Staff of Puri [Dipti Ranjan Muduli] was engaged for performing his duty at Station area, found one mobile Phone [Model-Vivi-Nazr] was lying on the Platform No.03. After checking of the mobile Phone the above named RPF Staff was also noticed that Cash Rs-2500/- [500×05] were also kept inside the mobile cover. As the mobile Phone was in pattern lock condition, so he brought the same to RPF Post Puri for further hand over to it’s owner with due verification.
After few one call received in the recovered mobile Phone & caller given her identity as Anupma Gupta, At-Sahadatganj, Lucknow [Uttarpradesh]. Further she also informed that she came at Puri for lord Jagannath Darshan & today she along with her family arrived at Puri Railway Station for return to her native place & boarded in train No.02815 [[Nandankanan Express] , vide PNR No.6345546785, Coach No.S-2 [09-13].
She further requested to keep her mobile Phone & money at RPF Post Puri till arrival of her identified person. At about-03.00 pm one Mukesh Sundray, who is working as travel agent & through him the above named passengers booked Hotel etc at Puri attended RPF Post Puri and on the request of concern Passenger [Anupama Gupta] the recovered mobile Phone & Cash handed over to him with proper acknowledgement & due verification. The above named Passenger appreciated the honesty of RPF Staff.
