New Delhi , It was 4th year in a row that Seniors Hub Dwarka (SHD) held Tiranga Rally on 13th August. In fact this date of 13th August is a special day for SHD members when members eagerly wait to be part of Tiranga Rally ever since it was held first time in 2022.
This year the Tiranga Rally was held in Sector 23, starting and culminating from Vedanta Society where the Management of the Society became the Perfect Host.
Like past years, this year too, SHD members – men and women, holding national flags, reciting slogans in the honour of Bharat Mata and singing patriotic songs marched through the precincts of housing societies enroute.
Society members were happy to receive chanting Vande Mataram and offering water and cold drinks to SHD members and joined. In fact the residents of Chopra Appts insisted to be with them for some time, relax, have drinks and it was Bhangra time there to the tune of patriotic songs.
The commitment and patriotism invigorated everyone, especially youngsters, who witnessed the Rallyists from their balconies, vehicles and on the street. Many of them saluted the enthusiasm and felt induced nationalism.
This in fact was the first in Sector 22/23 area while earlier Rallies were held in Sector 4 & 6. Impact on the members of the nearby societies was so high that they wanted future Rallies to be held in their localities.
Members, after covering over 2 KMs, had networking refreshments at Vedanta Appts where our Sponsors IDFC First Bank team joined and briefed SHD members about benefits being offered by their Bank especially to the Senior Citizens.
