First Annual Meeting of Brahmin Sanskriti Manch Dwarka

Delhi : The first annual meeting of Brahmin Sanskriti Manch Dwarka (BSMD) members was convened today in the Conference Room of Manipal Hospital. This significant gathering marked an important milestone for the group as members came together to reflect on the year’s achievements and discuss future initiatives.

Interactive Health Session

The meeting commenced with interactive sessions by senior doctors from Manipal Hospital namely Dr. Nikhil Jain and Dr. Naman Aggarwal. Members engaged in discussions aimed at understanding practical approaches to maintaining better health and staying informed about wellness practices. Shri Dinesh Chandra Sharma, Vice President, thanked both the doctors for this very informative talks.

Attendance

A record number of members participated in the meeting, demonstrating strong engagement and enthusiasm within the group.

Welcome Address and Year in Review

Shri Ravi Jaitley, President, welcomed all attendees and provided a brief overview of the reasons behind the Group’s founding. He also presented a Status Report highlighting the progress made during the year.

Suggestions and Discussion

The floor was then opened to members for feedback and suggestions. Key points raised included:

• Expanding the Group’s Base: Members volunteered to invite fellow Brahmins to join the organization.

• Collective Celebration of Religious Festivals: The group agreed to organize religious events together, starting with Sunderkand and Hanuman Chalisa recitations.

• Membership Structure: It was proposed to introduce paid memberships, with Founder Members contributing Rs. 6000/- each. For other members, a registration fee of Rs. 500/- would be required, and the annual membership fee would be determined later.

*Membership Registration* All attendees were requested to complete physical membership forms. While those present filled out the forms and handed over Shri Pradeep Chhibber paid the registration fee too during the meeting.

• Periodic Health and Related Talks

It was agreed to organize health and other informative talks regularly.

Appreciation for Founder Members

Those in attendance expressed their gratitude to the Founder Members for establishing BSMD, recognizing the organization as a timely and necessary initiative.

Conclusion

The meeting concluded with a special sumptuous lunch, thoughtfully arranged by Manipal Hospital, providing an opportunity for members to socialize and further strengthen community bonds.
