Desk : On 23rd May, Gandhidham-Puri Express arrived at Puri Railway Station Platform No.05. On it’s arrival at Puri Railway Station, while on duty Officer’s & Staff of Puri ASI B.K.Bal & others were engaged for conducting routine security check before locking of Coaches to prevent & detect criminal activities if any, noticed one mobile Phone /model-Samsung A-51, value-Rs-30000/- was kept on the seat No.49 of Coach No. B-3 in unclaimed condition. On seeing that RPF Staff made efforts to find out it’s owner, but no any fruitful results could be found.

The above named RPF Staff also noticed that the mobile Phone was in switched off condition, so brought the recovered mobile phone to RPF Post Puri for further disposal to concern person. After providing charging, when the mobile Phone switch on, at about-04.30 pm, one call received on the above Phone & caller given his identity as Madhab Chandra Behera, At-Nirakar Pur, Dist-Khurda & informed that, he is doing private job at Gujarat & due to Covid/lockdown, he was coming from Gandhidham-Khurda. On arrival at Khurda Road Station he get down from the train along with his bags etc, but unfortunately left behind his mother phone. After getting down from the train he made several efforts & dialed his number, but was switched off, after few time he could able to connect his number.

Finally today he attended RPF Post Puri and the recovered mobile Phone handed over to him with due verification. After receipt of the mobile phone he appreciated the honesty RPF Staff ASI B.K.Bal as he was sure that his missing mobile phone will not be recovered said Anil Kumar Singh, IIC, RPF Puri.
