New Delhi : Feeling responsible and committed to the marginalised section of society Stand N Stride Foundation, like last year, distributed dry ration kits to the families registered with the organization at its three centers of Dwarka (Delhi).

Usha Zalpuri, General Secretary of the organization said the ration kits were distributed in two phases, 70 kits in each phase keeping a gap of 15 days.

This time the organization distributed the thermometers also along with ration kits. Dr. Saroj Gulati, head of Sector – 2 centre gave live demonstration and training to the families for its usage which will be of great help to them.

Usha Zalpuri revealed that the unique part of the distribution this time was that the organization has been able to create volunteers among these families only and they did the job smoothly, keeping all the norms of safety in mind.While doing so they felt responsible and supportive.

She further said that the organisation is not only helping these people with free education but also trying to equip them with the tools and means so that they can face the challenges of life.
