Great humanitarian work done by RPF, Puri
Desk : On 22.03.2021 at about-10.00 am, while on duty Officer & Staff (ASI N.K.Sahoo & Const. P.D.Singh) were enagaged for conducting drive against aniti-social elements & also safe Passing of Puri-Howrah (Dhouli Express) from Platform No.01, noticed one minor girl aged about-06 Years was moving in general aimlessly & weeping state. Initially the RPF Staff ascertained that she was searching her parents.
After watching her activities, RPF Staff politely asked her identity, but could explain her name only. At that time it is noticed that she is knowing only Hindi. So it was suspected that she is from other State. Subsequently RPF Staff brought the above minor child at RPF Post and arrange continuous announcement through Station PA System. Beside that a separate team has been enagaged for physical identification of her parents as at that time 03 trains were standing at Puri Railway Station Platform for departure to various destinations. After all out efforts at about-10.45 am RPF team find out the parent’s of rescued child, who were sitting in train No.02815 [Nandan Kanan] Express, which was standing at Platform No.07. On getting information parent’s of the rescued child attended RPF Post Puri & informed that, they came at Puri for lord Jagannath Darshan in a group of 70 prsons.
Today while they came at Station for boarding in Nandan kanan Express along with other family & group members & smoothy boarded in their respective seats. They were totally know about her child is not available with her as her family members were sure that she is with any family or group members. Finally the rescued minor child handed over to her parent’s. After received her child they were appreciated the outstanding humanitarian of RPF Staff of Puri, because after after departure from train it may be chances that her child ll left at Puri, but due to blessing of Lord Jagannath she could be find out safely. Lastly their train Departure from Puri at 11.00 am said Anil Kumar Singh, IIC, Puri RPF.
